Around 600 live stocks have been vaccinated against Foot & Mouth Disease (FMD), Black Quarter and Haemorrhage Septicemia (BQ & HS) during a series of awareness camp cum mass vaccination programmes organised under the aegis of Joint Director of veterinary, Imphal West District at different places like Wangoi, Mayang Imphal and Mayang Imphal Bengoon today.
Apart from Joint Director of Veterinary, Imphal West Dr Th Nandakumar Singh, Deputy Director Dr Kh Jugindro Singh, Veterinary officer Dr L Arunkumar Singh and Veterinary Officer of Wangoi Veterinary Hospital Dr W Rosoraj Singh were also present at the occasion.
Naturopathy: Nature Cure and Yoga Hospital, Porompat would be organising a two-day free Naturopathy and Yoga treatment cum training camp for women at Ningombam Makha Leikai on September 24 and 25.The aim in organising the camp is to propagate and popularise the Naturopathy and Yoga system of treatment among the people living in backward areas of the North Eastern region.
The camp is being organised under the sponsorship of National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune.
Blood donation: As part of the Cancer Rose Day observance tomorrow, the Department of Radiotherapy and the Blood Bank of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Lamphelpat would be organising a blood donation camp.
The blood collected would be used for the cancer patients in the radiotherapy department, media advisor of the institute informed in a statement while asking the general public to come forward and donate their blood for the cause.
Meetei National Front (MNF), Blood Bank, RIMS and SBTC would be jointly also organising a Blood donation camp on September 22 from 9 am to 3 pm.
