COVID-19 tally now stands at 4112

Altogether 130 new cases have been added to the State's total COVID-19 tally during the last 24 hours.
Out of these 130 cases, 87 have no history of travelling outside the State.
According to a press release issued by Additional Director (Health) and COVID-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang, 130 people (91 civilians and 39 CAPF personnel) were tested positive for COVID-19 at RIMS, STDC/IRL, Raj Medicity, DH Chandel, DH Churachandpur, DH Thoubal, Imphal West RAT and Babina Diagnostic Centre during the last 24 hours.
They belong to Imphal West (24), Thoubal (47), Imphal East (12), Churachandpur (4), Senapati (1) and Bishnupur (3).Meanwhile, 64 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from RIMS (1), CCC Meitram (40), CCC Kakching (15), CCC Kamjong (4) and CCC Phungyar (4) as they have recovered from the virus during the last 24 hours.
The State's total tally of COVID-19 positive cases has reached 4112 (general public 3177, Central security personnel 935).This figure includes 1804 active cases (general public 1041, Central security personnel 763) and 2295 recovered cases (general public 2123, Central security personnel 172).The recovery rate stands at 55.61 percent.
Meanwhile, an individual who came to Shija Hospital for dialysis was found COVID-19 positive today.
It is said that the individual has been taken to RIMS COVID ward, sources informed.
On the other hand, 26 people were found positive after rapid antigen tests at different places of Imphal West district today.
Five of them belong to Changangei Uchekon, five to Uripok, one to Thangmeiband Maisnam Leikai, one to Awang Khunou and one of them is a personnel of Manipur Rifles.
Further, one Assam Rifles personnel and three CRPF personnel have been found infected by COVID-19 in Tamenglong, the sources added.
