Imphal, October 04 2022: The number of COVID-19 active cases in the State is now at 11 as 2 more fresh cases were added during the last 24 hours while no individuals were discharged today.

The new cases, all from the general population, were reported from Imphal West (1) and Kakching (1).During the last 24 hours, 139 samples were tested for COVID-19 at various testing centres out of which two samples had returned positive pushing the daily positivity rate to 1.4 percent.

With the addition of the two new cases, the cumulative number of positive cases in the State has reached 1,39,818 including 5022 CAPF personnel.

As no Covid related fatalities were reported during the last 24 hours, the cummulative death toll stayed at 2149 .
