Imphal, January 10 2019: The Rongmei community, which is one of the largest tribe in Manipur, will be celebrating its 7th Youth Conference of Rongmei Naga Baptist Association (RNBA) from January 15 till 19 at Zeihkuluang Baptist Church, Loktakproject under thetheme "Run for Glory".

A statement issued by RNBA said that, as many as 200 Churches from Manipur and Assam will take part and compete in the choral competition, which is divided into three groups) as well as Rongmei fellowship from New Delhi, Bangalore will participate in the program.

The five days program will showcase rich Rongmei talent at the star night, cultural events, traditions and many more while powerful gospel messages will be delivered by Rev Dr Bruce Cochran, Regional Minister American Baptist Churches of Indiana, Kentucky, Rev Dr Daisok Panmei, Senior Pastor, Miami B/Church, USA, Akhiumei Kamei, BD Coordinator, Zaozian Phwam, Neikanlong among others.

It stated that Forest and Environment Minister Thounaojam Shyamkumar, PHED Minister Losii Dikho, MP Thangso Baite will grace the event among other delegates.

The central committee, sub committee and COLA have been are making necessary preparations to make the event successful, it added.

RNBA appealed all organisations not to impose bandh, strike or any sort of disturbance during the said period.
