Manipur Hockey thanks participants of Olympic Day

Imphal, June 24 2022: Manipur Hockey on Friday extended its gratitude to all the participants from district units/club units and institutions, promoters, sports lovers, veteran sportspersons, Olympians and sponsors for making a grand success the Olympic Day celebration held on June 23 at Hockey Stadium, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.

"It was indeed a historic day for Manipur Hockey and sports fraternity of our state.

Around 1500 participants from different parts of our state turned up for the mega event", the Manipur Hockey said in a press release.

Meanwhile, the state hockey body congratulated Sushila Chanu Pukhrambam on being included in the Indian women's hockey team for the Commonwealth Games 2022 to be held from July 28 to August 8 in Birmingham, England.

It also wished her success and good health in the Games.
