ALUC register three straight wins as 72nd Senior Men's State Kabaddi Championship begins

Imphal, July 27 2025: ALUC, Khurai Angom Leikai got off to a flying start in the 72nd Senior Men's State Kabaddi Championship as they scored three straight wins on the opening day at Khonghampat Mayai Leikai playground.

ALUC opened their Group B campaign with a 37-25 win over ICDF, Irong Chesaba before defeating UPS, Kumbi 34-30 and NAYA, Nongmaikhong 35-30 to stretch their winning streak in the 10-team league cum knock out competition.

With the wins, ALUC are all but qualified for the semifinals.

In another Group B match staged today, AMDASCAM beat NAYA 39-35.Meanwhile in the Group A matches of the tournament staged today, MYC, Heirok notched up a 39-30 win against KYPC before Ema Kalika, Wabagai beat SLYO, Tekcham 36-32, VETO, Laphupat Tera beat KYPC, Khonghampat 50-48 and SLYO crushed KYPC 47-14 .
