Five Brothers, YFC, Tellou FC emerge victorious in 6th Lamlai Andro Kendra Soccer

Imphal, March 29 2019: Five Brothers, YFC, Tellou FC were able to secure wins in today's matches of 6th Lamlai Andro Kendra Village Wise Football Tournament 2019 organised by Bright Star Union, Nongpok Kakching at Ibudhou Khamlangba ground.

A total of 20 teams clustered into 7 groups are taking part in the tournament which began on March 26.The first match (Group B) of the day saw BSU-B hold Sopleng FC to a 1-1 draw.

N Priyanda opened up the scoring for BSU early in the 1st minute but Chon Jajo of Sopleng FC rescued his team from a slender defeat striking the equaliser in the 9th minute of the match.

In the second match (Group D), Herojit scored twice (6', 16') to give Five Brothers, Takhel a 2-0 win against YSWC, Sabungkhok.

Meanwhile, YFC, Huikap eased to a 3-1 win against ONYC, Oksu Ningthemchakhul in a Group C league encounter.

L Sudhir found the breakthrough in the 12th minute sending YFC ahead of ONYC and the onslaught continued as L Bilky fetched two goals back to back in the 18th and the 22nd to extend the lead to 3-0 .

W Rohit however scored a consolation goal in the 28th minute of the match to make it 1-3 at the end.

The last match of the day (Group E), Tellou FC rode on S Nobel (10', 28') and Th Pijendra (34', 38') to edge past NFC, Ngariyan.

NFC's goal were scored by Md Mustafa (14') and Md Raju (24') .
