Senapati FC crowned champions of Super Division District Football League

Senapati, August 27 2024: Senapati FC won the Super Division District Football League title on Tuesday.

The tournament was organised by the District Sports Association (DSA) in collaboration with the Senapati District Olympic Association, Manipur (SDOAM) .

The last day of the district football league was played between Chawang Brothers FC and Senapati FC in the first match and Senapati FC (R) and Atletico D Karong FC.

After 5 matches played by 6 different football clubs, the Senapati FC were declared champions of the district league on Tuesday while the Chawang Brothers FC were the runners-up.

Post assessment of the plays by each team during the league matches, individual prizes were awarded to Senapati FC's Daveikho (golden ball), Senapati FC Reserve's Ava Hrai (golden boot) and Chawang Bro FC s (golden glove) Meanwhile, the Senapati District Olympic Association, Manipur (SDOAM) announced that the 1st Division District Football League will start on September 3 .

Six different football clubs will compete till September 9.The football clubs to play in the 1st Division Football League are Makuilongdi FC, Willong FC, Ratung FC, Ta-muilong FC, Purul FC and FC Katumsiim.
