Wushu Association of Manipur clarifies on unauthorised State Level C'ship

Imphal, November 03 2026: The Wushu Association of Manipur (WAM) has clarified that it has not organised any State-Level Wushu Championship after the approval of its newly elected Executive Committee by the Registrar of Societies, Manipur, on September 25, 2026 .

In a notification, WAM said it has neither conducted any State-Level Championship nor granted permission, approval or recognition for any such tournament to date.

The Association stated that any State-Level Wushu Championship organised during the said period is not authorised or recognised by WAM and the Association bears no responsibility for such events, it said.

The notice was issued in public interest to prevent misunderstanding or misrepresentation regarding its involvement or endorsement, it added.
