Imphal, November 03 2026: The Naga People's Union, Imphal (NPUI) has expressed gratitude to all those who supported and participated in the mass rally held on October 31, particularly the Meiteis and Nagas.

In a press note, the NPUI stated that the mass movement underscored the importance of raising a united voice against proxy war, narco-terrorism, the Suspension of Operations (SoO) pact signed between the Government and Kuki armed groups, the removal of Assam Rifles and the rehabilitation of internally displaced persons (IDPs).

The Union said that while it could not mention everyone by name, it prayed for their well-being and expressed its gratitude for their support in every possible way.
