Imphal, January 27 2025: AKSDO, Khangabok and THAU, Thangmeiband registered comprehensive wins in today's matches of the ongoing 2nd MNCA U-15 Women's One Day Trophy.

AKSDO, Khangabok notched up their second win of the tournament by securing a huge 162 run victory against SHADOW, Thangmeiband at PCC ground, Mayaikoibi.

The team racked up a massive total of 334 runs for 5 wickets in 30 overs courtesy of blistering half century knocks from Bijaya Khundrakpam (57 off 38 balls; 10 fours), Langlen Ningthoujam (85 not out off 38 balls; 11 fours and 5 sixes) and Alish Thokhcom (63 off 31 balls; 4 fours and 6 sixes) .

Bijaya Khundrakpam (3/ 13 in 4 overs) and Laishram Linthoi Chanu (2/24 in 6 overs) then led AKSDO in restricting SHADOW to 172 for 9 and earn the big win of the 9-team tournament.

For SHADOW, Chandam Priyadasni (2/41), Hanglem Malemnganbi (2/71) and Victoria Thokchom (1/61) shared five wickets before Viviene Laishram scored a 71-ball 66 in a lost cause.

Bijaya Khundrakpam of AKSDO was adjudged player of the match.

Meanwhile at THAU ground in Thangmeiband, Ahongshangbam Thoithoibi struck a half century and picked three wickets to give THAU a commarding 203-run victory against Al-Ameen, Lilong.

Riding on half centuries from Robeni Usham (55 off 60 balls; 9 fours), Thoithoibi (66 off 56 balls 7 fours), and 83 extras from Al-Ameen bowlers, toss winners THAU amassed 260 runs for 6 wickets.

THAU then undone Al-Ameen for 57 runs in 17.1 overs as Rajkumari Valentina (4/12 in 5 overs), Thoithoibi (3/12 in 4.1 overs) and Konjengbam Nonibala (2/12) wreaked havoc across their line up.

Rahima (2/56), Najiya Begum (1/49), Linthoi Khulem (1/39), Farhana (1/ 43) and Sanjida (1/50) were among the wickets for Al-Ameen before Sanjida emerged the only double digit run getter for the team with 21 runs to her name.

Ahongshangbam Thoithoibi was eventually adjudged player of the match.
