Stage set for quarterfinals of 1st State Level Junior boys Volleyball

Imphal, July 24 2024: The 1st State Level Junior Boys Volleyball Toumament organised by Bazar Board Committee in Wangjing Khunou has reached the quarterfinal stage with the conclusion of the league stage today.

The fourth day of the tournament saw SEDO, Nongmaikhong and LPC, Wangjing Khunou registering wins against YPC in the last two Group B matches to squeeze into the quarterfinals.

In the first match of the day, SEDO, who suffered an opening game loss to LPC, secured a 25-21, 25-18, 25-8 win over YPC, Ishok.

LPC then prevailed 25-15, 25-17, 25-18 over YPC for the second win in the final league match to finish group leaders.

BBC, Wangjing Khunou who finished Group A winners will now play SEDO in the first quarterfinal match before Group B winners LPC take on Group A runners up KYLSC, Kachikhul.

Group C winners WYSC, Wangjing Khunou will on the other hand meet Group D runners up KACO, Kakching Khunou before Group D winners NYVA meet Group C runners up PYC in an all-Nambol Naorem QF clash.
