Range Imphal CRPF hosts men's football tournament at GC Langjing

Imphal, September 19 2026: Sporting event organised by CRPF under SPANDAN initiative continued with Range Imphal, CRPF and 87 Bn CRPF organising men's open football tournament in Imphal and Jiribam.

Range Imphal organised the football tournament at Group Centre CRPF Langjing in association with Sports Authority of India (SAI).

In the two day tournament that concluded today, SAI RC emerged the winners as FUFC and GC Imphal finished runners up and second runners up.

The closing ceremony was graced by Thoiba Singh, former Olympian (Hockey) who also led in distributing prizes to the teams, said a press release issued by Range Imphal.

Elsewhere at Jiribam, the 87th Bn CRPF hosted a similar tournament from September 16 to 17 at Jairolpokpi playground.
