39th Men's State Level Polo Tournament : X-Polo Club set up quarterfinal date with Tentha Polo Club

Imphal, January 14 2026: X-Polo Club will lock horns with Tentha Polo Club for a place in the semi-finals of the 39th Men's State Level Polo Tournament being organised by the All Manipur Polo Association at Mapal Kangjeibung.

In the first pre-quarterfinal match of the day, Tentha Polo Club outlasted Arvind Polo Club-B by 8-4 goals to book their quarterfinal ticket.

S Sadananda scored four goals in Tentha Polo Club's victory including twice in the third chukker while P Bikash scored thrice including two in the final chukker.

Tentha Polo Club were trailing 1-2 in the first chukker as A Kishan and S Ranjan scored a goal apiece for Arvind Polo Club-B against one scored by Sadananda, who drew level in the second chukker by scoring his second.

P Bikash scored one inbetween Sadananda's double in the third chukker to make it 5-3 as S Ranjan pulled back a goal for Arvind Polo Club-B in the same chukker before M Abhigyan added one and P Bikash scored twice in the final chukker to hand their team an 8-4 win.

A Kishan meanwhile scored the fourth goal for the losing side in the fourth minute of the final chukker.

Later in the second prequarterfinal match, X-Polo Club got the better of K&MM RS-A by 11-1 goals courtesy of Th Santosh leading performance to set up the quarterfinal date with Tentha Polo Club.

Th Santosh scored thrice, L Atangba scored twice and L Kokeshwor scored one to earn K&MM RS-A a 6-0 first chukker lead before Th Santosh scored twice and Atangba and T Herojit scored a goal apiece in the following chukker to make it 10-1 .

Lamyanba scored the only goal for K&MM RS-A in the fourth minute of this chukker.

The final goal came in the third chukker with Th Jacob finding the target in the 5th minute.
