Thang-Ta Maheikol to hold Technical Official and Coaches' Training

Imphal, April 29 2024: Thang-Ta Maheikol, formerly known as Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Academy, is set to hold a National Thang-Ta Technical Official and Coaches' Training 2024 from May 27 to 30 under the aegis of Thang-Ta Federation of India.

The 4-day training programme scheduled to be held at the academy's premises at Yumnam Huidrom Makha Leikai will host Thang-Ta coaches and instructors from across the country, said Thang-Ta Maheikol in a release.

The programme aims to update the relevance of the indigenous art form with time, further promote the game and enhance other aspects such as scoring, it said.

Thang-Ta Maheikol further invited Thang-Ta teachers from across the State to take part in the training programme and make it a successful event.
