Imphal, July 24 2024: Oja Huidrom Premkumar, technical chairman of the Thang-Ta Federation of India has been awarded an honorary Doctorate for his work and contributions in the field of indigenous martial art-Thang-Ta by the World Culture and Environment Protection Commission.

The honour was extended by the New Delhi based organisation to Premkumar today in a ceremony held at Lodhi Gardens, New Delhi.

Thang-Ta Federation of India, in a press release, expressed happiness over the achievement of Oja Premkumar who has dedicated his life towards the promotion of Thang-Ta.
