N Hazari & Dr N Tombi Polo : Victory for KMM Riding School, Tekcham Polo Club, Khurai Polo club-A

KMM Riding School, Singjamei registered an emphatic 12-0 win over KRYPSHA Polo team, Naoremthong in the first match while Tekcham Polo Club overpowered Paradise Polo Club Wangkhei by 9-2 goals in the second match whereas Khurai Polo club-A beat MPSC-C 9-1 in the third match of the ongoing 34th N Hazari & Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament, 2018 organized by the Manipur Horse Riding & Polo Association at Mapal Kangjeibung today.
The matches were resumed today after a short halt for few days due to bad weather condition.
In the first match of the day, KMM Riding School, Singjamei unleashed series of on-target, shots againt KRYPSHA Polo team, Naoremthong starting from the first chukker to corner a convincing 12-0 win.
L Thomson scored 3 goals in the first chukker and 2 goals in the second chukker while A Raj an added one goal in the second chukker.
L Thomson continued to impress with 2 more goals in the third chukker while O Roger extended the lead further by scoring one goal in the third chukker and 3 goals in the final chukker to wrap the match with 12-0 goals.
In the second match of the day, Tekcham Polo Club defeated Paradise Polo Club Wangkhei by a huge 9-2 goals.
M Kuber and Kh Tombi hit one goal each in the first chukker while four goals were scored in the second chukker through M Kuber (2), S Sadananda (1) and M Doren (1) .
M Kuber was unstoppable where he scored two more goals in the third chukker while S Sadananda impressed again with one goal in the final chukker to seal the game with 9-2 goals.
For Paradise Polo club, K Samananda scored the first goal in the first chukker while B Shantikumar scored one more goal in the final chukker.
Khurai Polo club-A beat MPSC-C 9-1 in the third match of the day.
Th Premkumar scored one goal for Khurai Polo club-A in the second chukker while Ch Gokhale scored 2 goals.
Th Nanao and S Jameson scored one goal each in the third chukker.
E Romesh and S Jameson extended the lead further by scoring two goals each in the final chukker.
The lone goal for MPSC was scored by M Vivekananda in the third chukker.
