Indian team leaves for World Hot Air C'ship

Imphal, August 27 2024: The Indian team departed Delhi on August 27, 2024 for Szged, Hungary to compete in the 25th FAI (Federation of Aeronautique Internationale) World Hot Air Championship, scheduled from September 8 to 14 .

Capt Ksh Imochaoba Singh will serve as the team's pilot, accompanied by crew members Y Bulee Singh, L Prameshor Singh and S Surjyapal Singh.

Team manager A David and Arvind Badoni, secretary general Aero Club of India, were present at a send-off event organised by Aero Club of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation at Hotel Taj Mansingh, New Delhi on August 26, 2024 .

Prior to the Hungary competition, the team will participate in the Croatia Hot Air Balloon Championship in Prelog, Croatia, from August 29 to September 2, 2024 .
