MNCA Men's U-23: CYCLONE thrash FORCE by 188 runs; YUCC, ESU, PCC also prevail

In a one-sided affair, CYCLONE showcased their dominance with a crushing 188-run victory over FORCE in the 2nd MNCA Men's U-23 Haobam Biramangol Singh Memorial Trophy at Mojjing Public Ground on Wednesday.
The match saw CYCLONE deliver a masterclass in both batting and bowling, leaving FORCE struggling to keep up.
After winning the toss, CYCLONE elected to bat and wasted no time in asserting their authority.
Openers Robinson Sougajjam (14 off 20 balls) and Ningthoujam Thoiba Singh (103 off 52 balls) provided a fiery start, with Thoiba Singh stealing the spotlight.
His explosive century, laced with 15 fours and 4 sixes, came at a staggering strike rate of 198.08, dismantling FORCE's bowling attack.
Captain Md Ageel (11 off 7 balls) and Thomsan Moirangthem (102 off 95 balls) continued the onslaught, with Moirangthem playing a composed yet aggressive knock, ensuring CYCLONE posted a mammoth 295/10 in just 37 overs.
Despite some resistance from FORCE's bowlers - Zahir Abbas Hussain (4/50) and Syed Fayaz (3/30) - the total proved insurmountable.
Chasing 296, FORCE's innings never gained momentum.
Naeem NA7 (38 off 40 balls) fought hard, but wickets tumbled at the other end.
CYCLONE's bowlers were relentless as Robinson Sougajjam (4/21 in 3 overs) ripped through the middle order with his pace.
Md Ageel (3/27 in 6 overs) struck early blows, removing key batsmen.
Maibam Napolian (2/1 in 2 overs) delivered a devastating spell, conceding just one run while taking two wickets.
FORCE were bundled out for a paltry 107 in 17.3 overs, handing CYCLONE a massive win.
ESU defeated REYS by 20 runs in a closely contested match at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur, Thoubal.
Batting first, ESU posted 142/10, with Soibam Sayonba Singh (49 off 45) and Hanjabam Naoba Sharma (41 off 53) leading the charge.
REYS were bowled out for 122, thanks to Hanjabam Donba Sharma's stellar 5-wicket haul (4.4-1-17-5) and Elangbam Atomba Singh's 4 wickets.
Meanwhile, YUCC chased down MODEL's total of 115 with 5 wickets to spare at Khudeiband Lampak, Tao-thong (Lamshang).
MODEL's Bisai Ningombam (35 off 30) top-scored, but Ningthoujam Sanjit Singh's 5-wicket burst (7.4-1-28-5) restricted them.
YUCC's Kadamjit Moirangthem (33 off 33) and Laishram Bidyashwor Singh (27 off 28) guided the team to victory in 19.4 overs.
Elsewhere, PCC clinched an 86-run win over BLUE HAWK.
PCC posted 175/10, with Takhelmayum Vikash (44 off 45) and Nandakishor (33 off 43) shining.
BLUE HAWK collapsed for 89, as Lamnganba Nongmathem (7.3-2-17-5) and Vikash (8-1-18-4) wreaked havoc with the ball.
