Imphal, October 14 2019: KRYPHSA, Naoremthong having won their opening match 5-1 over YWC, Langthabal continued their fine form and sealed their second win at the 10th AMFA Sr Women's Football League for BM Singh Trophy by thumping ESU 2-0 at Artificial Turf Ground Khuman Lampak today.

N Ratanbala shone in the match as she scored both the goals for KRYPHSA in the second half after playing out a goalless draw in the first half.

Both, KRYPHSA and ESU took off the game on a cautious note and defence lines on both ends produced an exemplary performance to deny any chance in the scoreline till the end of the break.

KRYPHSA however entered the field with more grit and determination after the break and eventually found the breakthrough in the 49th minute when N Ratanbala found the net.

The lead surprised the Wangkhei side and forced them to step up thereby making the game an end to end affair in the following proceedings.

ESU's comeback chance however literally came to an end N Ratanbala completed her double in the 74th minute and handed KRYPHSA the 2-0 lead which lasted till the final whistle.

Meanwhile in the second match of the day, MPSC which went down 1-3 to ESU in their tourney opener came back from a goal down to earn a 4-2 win against YWC, Langthabal.

Kimte Langel put YWC ahead in the 9th minute but star of the day Ng Bala drew level in the 15th minute before scoring thrice in the second half to ensure the huge win.

Ng Bala overturned the lead in the 43rd minute after the two sides played out a 1-1 draw till the break and grabbed her third to make it 3-1 in the 55th minute.

Kimte who was leading up at the front for YWC underline her scoring prowess by scoring another of the team in the 65th minute to make it 2-3 but Ng Bala fourth goal in the 75th minute pour cold water to their comeback bid.

Eventually the came ended 4-2 in MPSC's favour.

KRYPHSA will meet MPSC in the 5th match on Oct 18 at 12.30 pm while ESU will take on YWC in the 6th match latter at 2.30 pm .
