Senapati,October 29 2026: The All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM), has extended its unequivocal support and solidarity with the appeal issued by the United Naga Council (UNC) in support of the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity's mega rally scheduled to be held in Imphal on October 31, 2026 .

In view of the prevailing security crisis and grave concerns over the safety, rights and existential interests of indigenous commu- nities, ANSAM acknowledged the urgency of the demands raised for the abrogation of the Suaspension of Operations (SoO) agreement with Kuki militant groups, an end to the alleged proxy war in Manipur, the replacement of Assam Rifles with a "neutral" Central security force such as the Border Security Force (BSF), particularly in sensitive areas and along the border, and the effective implementation of the Guwahati Talks Agreements dated September 26, 2026 between the Government and Naga organisations.

ANSAM also endorsed the UNC's call for simultaneous peaceful sit-in protests and solidarity rallies at all Naga district headquarters from 11 am onwards on the same day.

ANSAM appealed to all its units, Naga organisations, students, youths and the general public to demonstrate unity through peaceful, disciplined and responsible participation.
