5th Gospel soccer kicks off in Tamenglong

The 5th Gospel Soccer, organised by Baptist Youth Fellowship of Town Baptist Church Tamenglong kicked off here at Tamenglong Mini Stadium.
The opening ceremony was graced by Dinganglung Gangmei, MCS, ADM Ukhrul as chief guest.
Speaking as chief speech, Dinganglung Gangmei, ADM Ukhrul said that football game need patience and players must follow certain rule and regulation laid down by the organiser.
Even as Christian it is not able to follow the rule and regulation.

"How do we fulfil the desires of God.
As Christian football player, we should fulfil rule and regulation laid down by authority so as to change our society as an agent", Dinganglung said.
As Kaninglung, best player in brought the flame (torch bearer), Rev.Namreikeu, President Town Churches Union lighted the 5th Gospel Soccer 2014.Rev.Namsadai Kamei, Pastor Town Baptist Church Tamenglong share a gospel message to the mammoth gathering of the opening ceremony.
As many as 26 teams have registered and will continue till 24th October 2014 .
The organising committee has fixed the prises for the 5th Gospel soccer.
For 1st position Rs.25 thousand, certificate, medallist and rolling cup and Rs.15 thousand, certificate and medal.
For the 3rd passion Rs.10 with citation certificate and medal.
And for the best player, the committee has fixed with two thousand in cash with certificate and medal and cup.
For best goal keeper, Rs 1000 in cash with certificate while for best discipline team the organising committee has fixed Rs.2000 in cash and certificate.
In the opening match, Tamenglong Baptist Church won the Town Baptist Church (B) team in 2:0 goals.
In the second match, Town Baptist Church (A) and Town Centre Church was played and in which, Town Centre Church won the match by 2 goals.
