Boost to tankers

Imphal, July 14 2010: A meeting presided over by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh has today decided that Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Department would be giving Rs 5000 in addition to the transportation charge given by IOC to every tankers which bring in petroleum products including cooking gases through National Highway-53 .

The Owners' and Drivers' Council decided never to ply on NH-39 again.
