Imphal, January 02 2025: The 18th death anniversary of Chingsubam Akaba will be observed on January 11, 2025 at his memorial site at Wakha Leimaching.

The announcement was made today by Wakhallon Mannaba Apunba (WAMA), Kangleipak president M Naokhomba Meetei during a press conference at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

He said that the memorial event will be jointly organised by WAMA Kangleipak, Meetei National Front, Luchingpurel Chingsubam Akaba Ningsing Lup (LUCANIL) and R Suisa Trust.

He shared that the event will be graced by Rajya Sabha MP and titular King of Manipur Leishemba Sanajaoba as the chief guest.
