B/109 CRPF Battalion organises tree plantation drive to mark 87th CRPF Raising Day

Senapati, July 27 2025: Marking its 87th CRPF Raising Day, the B/109 Battalion, CRPF posted at Senapati district headquarters on Sunday organisedatreeplantation drive around the camp surrounding areas.

Nula Bhim, Assistant Commandant of the B/109 Bn CRPF took the lead in the initiative for the plantation.

According to officials, the plantation drive aimed to highlight the crucial role of the CRPF in preserving biodiversity and ensuring environmental cleanliness in the region.

The drive also intended to raise awareness about the need for sustainable practices and environmental protection.

The purpose of the drive is to promote and protect the environment as a part of the green initiative.

Later in the evening, a friendly Volleyball match was also played between the 4th IRB personnel and the CRPF personnel.
