Kangpokpi, March 27 2022: An intense fire destroyed the dining hall, store room, Fundamental & Nutrition lab, kitchen and 4 other rooms of Kangpokpi Christian Hospital, School of Nursing at around 11 am today.

It is suspected that the fire was caused by an electric short circuit from the kitchen, said a release issued by KCH.

The fire reportedly destroyed properties worth about Rs 45-50 lakh.
