RIMS lists Eid-ul-Zuha as restricted holiday

Imphal, June 04 2025: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal, has informed that the Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakri Eid), which is to be celebrated on June 7, shall be a restricted holiday for the institute.

A circular issued by RIMS deputy director (Admn) Mecolt Rajkumar Singh on Wednesday notified the inclusion of Eid-ul-Zuha festival as restricted holiday.

It may be mentioned that Manipur Meitei Pangal Welfare Organisation had on Tuesday questioned the rationale for RIMS authorities not enlisting the festival in the holiday list of the medical institute.
