Imphal, March 27: At least two HT pylons of the Power Grid were blasted by unidentified persons at Dibong Khunou in Jiribam in the midnight of March 23, reports our correspondent.

IEDs were used in the assault.

In the follow up action personnel of 5 Assam Rifles picked up five suspects, but they were freed later.

Meanwhile the 12 CRPF has dedicated a community hall under its MCA project to the villagers of Tatbung in Tamenglong district.

CO of 12 CRPF RK Bahuguna inaugurated the hall on March 24.The CO also donated monetary assistance to the people.
