Noney, January 27 2025: Gaisiamliu Gonmei (15 yrs), a student of Tentmaker's Academy has received All India Essay Competition Award on January 25, 2025 from Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh."The award ceremony was held on January 25, 2025 in connection with the Republic Day celebration.

Brought up in a very humble family, Gaisiamliu, is a student of Tentmaker's Academy, studying in X standard and is the daughter of Gaisinlung Gonmei & Late Muchamliu Gonmei of Sangrung (Khongsang Village, Noney district) .

She participated in All India Veer Gatha Essay event Competition, and got selected along with 6 other candidates, including 3 from Manipur.
