Imphal, May 24:
A young deer rescued from Leishiphung village in Senapati district on May 16 has been handed over to the officials of Wild Life here today.
The rescued fawn was handed over to the Wild Life Wing of the Forest and Environment Department by DSP of Vigilance Department Ningom Sero, MPS of Leishiphung village, but presently staying at New Checkon Tribal Colony.
According to Sero, the fawn was rescued by one of his sons on May 16 and it was brought to Imphal the following day.
