Chandel, January 27 2025: The 36th National Road Safety Awareness Month, focused on "Hit and Run Motor Accident Compensation Scheme" was observed at Chandel yesterday.

District Transport Officer Samom Sanahal Singh, officials of district administration and district police took part in the awareness programme.

As a part of the programme, riders and commuters were given awareness on rules related to Motor Vehicles Act.
