Imphal, March 26 2025: The Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal West has on Wednesday remanded a 26 year old vehicle lifter to police custody till March 29 .

Accused Meraimayum Nadim, s/o Md Abdul Gaffar of Lilong Haoreibi Awang Leikai was produced before the Court by Imphal police with a prayer to send him to police custody.

According to police, Nadim and one of his associates stole a Honda Activa from Konjeng Hazari Leikai on March 10 and sold it for Rs 33,000 .

The police requested a 5-day police custody remand to question the accused and identify his accomplice.

The Court sent the accused to police custody till March 29 .
