Imphal, July 14 2010: The medical wing of 43 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR(S) conducted a medical camp at Old Samtal yesterday.

More than 150 patients including IED victims diagnosed and provided free medicines.

Lecture on Prevention against malaria and water borne diseases was also given by the medical officer.

Similar medical camp was organised by 8 Assam Rifles at Aishi village on July 10 and 11 .

A Desktop computer, electricity faciliy were provided by 43 Assam Rifles to the school at Old Samtal to spread awareness and provide computer based education to the children of far flung villages of Samtal Salient.
