Two KCP (PWG) members arrested

Imphal, January 02 2025: Manipur police arrested two active members of the armed KCP (PWG) namely Mayengbam Momocha Meitei (42), son of late M Sanakhomba of Bijoypur Mathak Leikai from Bijoypur Mathak Leikai under Kakching district on Thursday and Irom Basker (30) from Mantripukhri Bazar Bengali Crossing on December 31, 2024 .

The arrested persons were involved in extortion from public and businesspersons, it continued, while informing that one 9mm pistol, one magazine with three rounds, mobile handset, two money receipts of KCP (PWG) and a two wheeler were seized.
