Imphal, March 05 2016 :
Kangleipak
Students' Association (KSA)
has expressed discontentment
over the State Cabinet decision
of February 16 which gave ap-
proval for appointment of 1582
primary teachers and 419 gradu-
ate teachers on the basis of
academic performance and said
that it will oppose tooth and nail
with regards to the decision
adopted.
It further said due to
the wave of CBSE schools in
Manipur a few years back, many
students without even sitting for
exams could attain high marks.
And in such case, appointing
teachers on the basis of marks
obtained would be disastrous.
The KSA urged the concerned
authorities to conduct recruit-
ment exam for the same,
conveyed a press release issued
by the secretary (HRD) of KSA.
