Imphal, July 14 2010: All India Women's Voluntary Services, Manipur branch celebrated the 70th birth anniversary of Dr H Nungshi Devi at Working Women's Hostel, Paona Bazar today.

Amount of school fees of 12 months for nine HIV positive children were handed over to the representatives of MNP+ to mark the celebration.

The gathering paid floral tributes to the photograph of the doctor during the celebration.

Dr Nungshi was a general secretary of the women's body and a National HIV/AIDS trainer.

Arjun Arambam spoke on HIV/AIDS in the celebration.
