Imphal, July 23 2023: Referring to the statement issued by Mani pur police regarding arrest of one Md Ibungo alias Ab dul Hillim (38) son of (L) Tomba of Epum Mapan by Imphal East district police on Thursday and branding the captive as active cadre of People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-Progressive (PREPAK-Pro), media coordinator of PREPAK-Pro has clarified that the arrestee has no connection with the organisation in any manner.

In a release, the media coordinator appealed to parties concerned not to use the name of the organisation to make personal gains especially during the on-going conflict.
