Imphal, July 14 2010: A joint operation launched by troops of 23 and 39 Assam Rifles at Lamlai market area has led to the arrest of two Lamyanba Group cadres of the KCP (MC) outfit at around 5.30 am today.

A PRO IGAR (S) release identifying the arrestees as Amarjeet alias Daya (20) of Lamlai Makha Leikai and Khaidem Shashikant (32) also of the same locality, listed one Chinese hand grenade, five live rounds of Semi rifle, one round of Chinese CM and 15 fired cases of Chinese CM as the items recovered from the duo who have been handed over to Lamlai police station.
