Imphal, January 02 2025: Kakching district police commando arrested a rifleman of 1st Manipur Rifles with 10.2 kg of World is Yours (WY) tablets from Pallel Mamang Leikai on Thursday.

The arrested rifleman has been identified as Ms Abdul Matalip s/o Md Abdul Satar of Sangaiyumpham Mairenkhun Mayai Leikai, Thoubal district.

Abdul (Rfn no 1197646) is currently attached to CID (SB) and stationed at Khongjom Post.

According to a police report, the commando personnel arrested Abdul with 10.2 kg of WY tablets from Pallel Mamang Leikai (Pallel-Chandel road) around 3.30 pm Thursday.

He has been handed over to Kakching PS for further legal action.
