Imphal, April 24: The principal and the secretary of SFS School located in Daili village, Kangpokpi as well as the headman of the village have been reportedly abducted by suspected armed cadres of KRA from their respective residences at gun-point yesterday evening.

According to a statement issued by the staff and students of the school, they (principal and secretary of the school and the headman) have been abducted by the suspected armed cadres of KRA from their residences at gun-point at around 6.30 pm yesterday in connection with the demand letter served on the school.

The armed cadres inflicted physical torture on the abducted persons, thus requiring immediate medical attention, the statement said, adding that such inhuman act should be condemned by one and all in the strongest term.
