Noney, November 20 2024: A team of the Indian Railways assessed the operational preparedness of the Khongshang railway station on Wednesday.

The team including maintenance crew of railways tracks comprising engineers and the commander of Railway Protection Force arrived at the station at 12:20 pm in a special double-coach train from Silchar, Assam.

Following the inspection, the team left Khongshang station at 1:51 pm on the same day.

Meanwhile, the Khongshang railway station master Sinreap Gangmei informed that a goods train is likely to reach the station on November 22 .
