Imphal, November 26 2015:
Like some other LPG distributors, K&K Indane Service has issued 2469 LPG refills to 400 consumers from April this year till date.
Among the 400 consumers, 12 refills were given to two consumers each, 11 refills to three consumers each, 10 refills each to 12 consumers, nine refills each to 23 consumers, eight refills each to 20 consumers, seven refills each to 66 consumers, six refills each to 93 consumers and five refills each to 181 consumers.
The distributor has around 10341 active consumers out of whom 8729 are DBTL consumers.
The two consumers who have been issued 12 refills each are Laishram Ranachandra (consumer no.CX2533528) and Soibam Tombimacha (consumer no.0096) .
Whereas Laishram Ranachandra has been given subsidy amount of Rs 3241.69 through his bank account, no subsidy amount has been transferred to the bank account of Tombimacha till date.
The three consumers who have been issued 11 refills each are Laishram Khogen (consumer no.CX2532273), Moirangthem Jabita Devi (consumer no.11209) and Waikhom Sunila Devi (consumer no.3783) .
Corresponding subsidy amounts of Rs 3071.18, Rs 3209.07 and Rs 2612.39 have been transferred to their respective bank accounts.
On the other hand, out of the 400 consumers who have been given 2469 refills in total, 296 consumers have not received their subsidy amounts.
Perhaps, it is K&K Indane Service which has the highest number of DBTL consumers who have not been given LPG subsidies.
Of the 12 consumers who have been issued 10 refills each, five consumers are yet to get their subsidy amounts.
14 out of 23 consumers who have been issued nine refills each have not got any subsidy.
Four out of 20 consumers who have been issued eight refills each have not been given any subsidy.
51 out of 66 consumers who have been issued seven refills each have not got any LPG subsidy.
66 out of 93 consumers who have been issued six refills each too have not been given any subsidy.
155 out of 181 consumers who have been issued five refills each have not received any LPG subsidy.
The authority need to examine whether the 296 consumers who have not been given any subsidy are genuine DBTL consumers or whether there were any procedural lapses.
