Three minor youths taken away by a woman luring their families of lucrative jobs in Bangkok were allegedly handed over to an underground group in a fresh case of enticing youngsters in joining underground outfits in the state.
The matter of handing over the three boys came to know to the families when they got highly reliable reports that one of the three youth fell sick on the way to a training centre of the militant group and left behind in a hut in Bangladesh jungle, a police source said.
Police are investigating into the case following received of a complaint lodged by a father of the three youths with the Sugunu police station of Thoubal district.
From the complaint, they revealed that the three youths of around 22-year ranges, Sanasam Ibopishak (22) son of Kesho, Sanasam Bunkimchandra son of Bishambor and Angom Indragovin son of Chinglen, all hailing from Wangoo Laipham village under Sugunu police station were taken away by one woman of the same village and handed over to the KCP (MC) .
Forty-five year old Loitongbam Memcha wife of L Manitomba had taken away the three youths around four back, on March 26 this year luring the parents of the three youths for providing jobs in Bangkok but handed over them to the recruiters of the KCP(MC) who had taken way them to its training centre in Bangladesh.
One of the youth, Indragovin fallen sick with diarrhea on the way and allegedly left behind at a hut in the jungle of Bangladesh, worried father of the missing youth said to the police.
Police investigating into the case are trying to extract the clue of the missing boy, the source added.
