A newly constructed community hall at Pangaltabi Laibung in Sugunu of Thoubal district was inaugurated today by state works minister K Ranjit.
State education minister, L Jayentakumar presided over the function held in connection with the inauguration function in which works minister graced as chief guest.
Pradhan of the Pangaltabi Gram Panchayat also attended as guest of honour of the function.
The community hall inaugurated today was constructed at a cost of Rs 11,92,616.When the hall was found constructed with quality control, works minister lauded the construction committee.
Speaking on the occasion, works minister Ranjit assured of taking up developmental works at Pangaltabi area within his capacity.
Many people of Pangaltabi area came up and requested him to induct their sons in the state security forces at the time of recruitment.
But he could not fulfill aspiration of all the intending candidates as he could not favour for those who are physically unfit.
Besides this, he cannot do whatever he wanted.
Keeping aside Chief Minister's constituency, among the constituencies, he had inducted more people from Sugunu constituency to government jobs, Ranjit boldly said.
He will try his best in induct those left out in recruitments conducted this year to induct in the coming up recruitments in the year to come, Ranjit assured.
The minister also announced that a power transformer of 63 watt will be installed at Pangaltabi area at the near future.
Delivering his speech as president of the function, minister L Jayentakumar asserted that complaint of shortage of teachers in government school is not a new thing.
It is a common complaint from everywhere.
The most possible reason for this problem could be teachers willing to post at the schools located nearest to their locality and assured that he will look into the shortage of teachers in the Pagaltabi Primary School in the reallocation of transfer and posting of teachers which would be carried out within this month.
