Imphal, March 26 2025: The Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS), Manipur has conveyed its Cheiraoba greetings to the people of Manipur, especially the indigenous people.

FOCS, in a message, also wished the Meetei-Pangal community a joyous Eid-Ul-Fitr in advance.

While Sajibugee Nongma Panba Cheiraoba falls on March 30, Ed-Ul-Fitr falls on March 31 .

The Federation prayed for Cheiraoba, the Meetei lunar new year festival, to strengthen the ties between hill and valley people so as to defeat the alleged war being waged by Chin-Kuki illegal immigrants from Myanmar in Manipur.

FOCS also prayed for Eid-Ul-Fitr to foster greater trust and unity among Manipur's indigenous communities and bring lasting peace in the State.
