Kshetrigao MLA inaugurates multi-sports complex

Imphal, January 02 2025: Kshetrigao AC MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan inaugurated a Multi-Sports Complex at Kshetri Iril Mapal on Wednesday.

The Kshetri Iril Mapal Youth Club (KIYC) Multi-Sports Complex has a football turf ground, community hall, badminton court, club building, Residential Football Academy, walking track, open gym and Information Technology Center.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Noorul Hassan said that all the assembly constituencies of Manipur will be developed if the MLAs used their Local Area Development Fund wisely and efficiently.

He asserted that the MLA Local Area Development Fund (MLALAD) is not meant for personal use by the MLA, the fund should be used by the MLA to develop their constituencies.

The MLA also expressed joy over the inauguration of the multi-sports complex which was with funds from the MLALAD and Sheikh Brothers in the memory of Late Shahjahan Nur Muhammad.

Sheikh Babumacha Memorial Trust chairperson, Haji Husnel Banu; Sheikh Abdul Hakim; Meira Paibis and representatives from Kshetrigao Meitei Pangal United Club and Kshetrigao United Clubs were present at the inaugural function.
