The bail application was granted by the Prevention of Corruption Act Court after the accused furnished PR Bond of Rs 30,000 along with a surety bond of the same amount.
The bail application of the then FCS Director L Gangte, a resident of Old Lambulane, who has also been tagged in the charge sheet of the CBI and who surrendered before the same Court on January 8 has also been granted along with that of Abdul's after execution of the necessary bail and surety bonds.
While allowing the bail applications, the Court in its different orders asked both Gangte and Abdul to appear before the Court on January 21.It may be recalled here that ex-CM RK Ranbir Singh had on January 5 last applied for anticipatory bail which was turned down.
