BSF honours brave-heart Deepak Chingakham

On the solemn occasion of the Kargil Vijay Diwas-2025, Border Security Force (BSF) paid tribute to constable Deepak Chingakham, who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty during Operation Sindoor while serving in RS Pura Sector of BSF Jammu Frontier.
According to PRO BSF M&C Frontier HQ, in recognition of Deepak Chingakham's supreme sacrifice for the nation, Manipur police have offered Chingakham Naoba Singh, Deepak's brother, the post of assistant sub-inspector in the state police force.
In a moving ceremony held in Imphal, BSF M&C Frontier inspector general Ravi Kant honoured Chingakham Naoba.
To further immortalise the valour and sacrifice of Deepak, Gate No.3 of the BSF Ch-hawla Camp in New Delhi has been renamed in his honour.
This symbolic gesture stands as a testament to the courage and dedication displayed by BSF personnel in safeguarding the sovereignty of the Nation, the PRO informed.
