CCpur, August 20 2023:
The Churachandpur District Administration is making constant efforts to show deepest empathy and emotional support to the people affected by the unrest in the State.
On Saturday, Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar hosted a dinner for roughly 45 children from various relief centres at his official residence wherein he dined together with the children.
The Deputy Commissioner also handed them sports and recreational items.
Interacting with the children, the DC identified himself as their 'friend' and assured them that he was ever ready to help them.

To show utmost concern and compassion to internally displaced persons, the Deputy Commissioner and other officials of the District have routinely visited relief centres and interacted with the IDPs, particularly the children.
Besides ensuring that all welfare measures are in place at the centres, the District Administration is trying hard to send the message that they (IDPs) are not alone in their trying times.
Occasionally, the DC and other officials of the District have dinner together with the IDPs and civil society organisations' leaders.
Also, skills are imparted to the IDPs at their camps.
"Relief distribution goes beyond just providing essential supplies it is about demonstrating compassion and empathy towards fellow citizens who are facing hardships.
Every relief package, every meal and every helping hand extended is a gesture that reaffirms our commitment to each other's well-being," Dharun Kumar said.
So far, over 9882 bags of rice, 2135 bags of dal, 1468 bags of potatoes, and several other food items such as onion, cooking oil, sugar, nutrela, pumpkin, mattress, mosquito nets, bedsheets, etc have been distributed to about 16,000 IDPs who are sheltered at about 105 different relief centres in the district.
These relief materials have been provided through philanthropic organisations who are manning the relief centres.
Besides, medical supplies and water supply are being provided through Chief Medical Officer and the district's PHED respectively.
