AR inaugurates hostel, holds interaction meet

Imphal, March 26 2025: Assam Rifles inaugurated a newly constructed RCC building for the orphan hostel at Jamia Qasmia Trust Complex, Lilong, Thoubal district under Operation Sadbhavana on Wednesday.

The event was attended by around 100 locals including prominent community leaders and stakeholders, a release by PRO IGAR (S) said.

In another release, the PRO informed that AR organised 'A Day with Company Commander' at New Samtal village, Chandel district, which was attended by 193 locals and featured a variety of activities aimed at promoting health, education and sportsmanship among the local population.

A career counselling session was also organised for the youth to provide them necessary guidance for selecting better career options, followed by an interactive session on healthy lifestyle conducted by the AR medical officer.

The release also informed that AR conducted fun games for children like musical chair and sack race.

The villagers and children whole heartedly participated in all the events with great enthusiasm and vigour.
